Omer of Manna
One of my friends requested I include some doodles that include biblical measurements during readings to give a visual picture to readers. The trouble I have discovered is that some biblical measurements have been lost over time and there is some debate over what they are in today's conversions. However, the general consensus for an omer seems to be around 2 dry quarts. So in today's terms, each person could collect about a half gallon (or nearly fill a 2 qt. saucepan) of honey-flavored manna each.
Today's doodles made with pencil.
Today's readings include EXODUS 16:1-19:25.

If you would like to follow along with the readings, you can follow the link to read from the New Revised Standard Version, but feel free to read from your own Bible of choice.
